Ogbomosho (also Ogbomoso) is a city in Oyo State, southwestern Nigeria, that was founded in the mid 1600s.[1] The population was approximately 645,000 as of 1991;[2] as of Marsj 2005, it iser estimat to be around 1,200,000.
The majority of the people are members of the Yoruba ethnic group. Yams, cassava, maize, and tobacco er some of the notable agricultural producten of the regionen.
